So torn…Ahhh Sibil。 A character that you will have a love/hate relationship with。 Is she good？ Is she evil？ Is she normal？ “Normal is subjective。” The book was hard to get through at times… not because of the book， or even the writing （which was excellent btw）。 But because of the things that were happening in the book。 As a writer myself， I find it helps to put myself into the mindset of my character while writing their story。 But that makes me wonder… H。D。 Carlton… are you okay？ 😁

I started reading this book and realized it was a prequel to the Haunting Adeline books。 I never knew about this book and that it was connected to the two book series at all。 I’m glad I read it after I read Hunting and Haunting Adeline。 I felt like if I had read this book first it would have ruined part of the duet books。 This book did help me see Sibbel in a whole new light and perspective but should not be a “prequel” to the duet。
